Bally's Casino in Las Vegas, NV will be the final home of the 2010 King of the Cups KOTC tournament. After a contract dispute between Harrah's Organization and another Beer Pong company over exclusivity rights to all Harrah's owned hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, Harrah's agreed to grandfather the King of the Cups contract over to Bally's Casino. After it was all said and done, KOTC received another 3,000 square feet to work with in a hotel that is located closer to the larger more popular casinos on the Strip. We were a bit upset that the meeting space, or the Nevada Ballroom , was a little less elegant than the meeting space at Harrah's. However, the space is still a great fit for our tournament needs. We hope to see you there! |
PongLeague and BPSC have been negotiating with beer companies for a King of the Cups beer sponsor. We have a few companies in mind that we plan on pursuing in the near future. Finding a beer sponsor is our next major priority. |
Pong360 will be the official table of the 2010 King of the Cups tournament. The tables will be the industry standard collapsible beer pong table with custom graphics, which will be revealed at the actual event. These tables will be sold on spot as the tournament unfolds at an unbeatable discounted price. |
King of the Cups has officially signed GetBombed as a ball and cup sponsor for the event. All cups and balls used in tournament gameplay will be from GetBombed. The balls are orange 3-star seamless and the cups are 16ozs and translucent with a fill line. GetBombed has also set up a promo code on their site to buy the equipment at a 10% discount. |
All of the tournament details will be posted this Friday. Contract problems with Harrah's moved the event to Bally's, which is actually a better hotel at the same grand-fathered rates. The disputes between current contract interpretation actually worked out in our favor. We'll keep you posted! |
